Kailas RFID Project Wins 2025 IoT Star Award as a Digital China Benchmark Case
Award Overview
The 2025 IoT Star China AIoT Industry Annual Awards were announced by the Shenzhen IoT Industry Association, the World AI and IoT Innovation Alliance, AIoT Star Institute, and the IOTE Organizing Committee. This was the first awards cycle since the upgrade from IoT to AIoT.
The Kailas RFID smart warehouse and retail project, developed by Century Lead, won a place on the Digital China Benchmark Case list. The award recognizes both Kailas's strategic vision in outdoor industry digital transformation and Century Lead's RFID expertise.
Project Details
Century Lead applied its deep experience in footwear and apparel RFID to create a custom full-chain solution for Kailas. The core approach was building a product lifecycle management system in phases, with RFID as the foundation.
A brand protection system was established first. Each product receives a unique RFID tag at the factory, enabling one-item-one-code tracking. Customers can verify authenticity through Kailas's WeChat public account.
Century Lead deployed RFID Channel Machines and UHF Fixed RFID Readers across factory, warehouse, and store scenarios. These devices enable fast batch reading, significantly improving efficiency and accuracy in receiving, shipping, counting, and item location.
The project integrated with Kailas's SCM, ERP, POS, and multiple WMS systems. This achieved unified omnichannel data management. Kailas now has more accurate product lifecycle tracking and inventory management. A data-driven rapid response mechanism allows production and distribution adjustments based on real-time sales data.
Results and Recognition
The project delivered clear economic and operational benefits. Full-chain product lifecycle management based on RFID allows Kailas to track products from factory to final sale across both online and offline channels. Market order and brand value are better protected.
